Yohji Yamamoto X Supreme

Throughout his career, Yohji Yamamoto has collaborated with many recongnizable brands and people. Yohji would collab with Adidas in the early 2000s and together they would create Y-3. This collaboration was revolutionary as it was the first time a fashion designer had created a sportswear line with a brand-symbol. Years later however, he would partner with brand Supreme, and make not one, but two collections with them. The first collection dropped in late 2020, it was a selection of graphic T-shirts, sweaters, and spins on Yamamoto's signature black suits. They had also created a leather jacket, which was painted by street artist CHITO. Supreme and Yohji would drop a second collaboration in 2022, as part of the Fall/Winter collection. However, this time, they were joined by a third collaborator, which took many by surprise. The third partnership would be with the famous video game Tekken. The game is best described as a Japanese fighting game, spanning out with 8 games so far, the newest being released in 2024.
